Inspection and Test Plans

Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) are an important quality assurance and planning tool, and should be developed prior to project delivery, presented to the client and approved. This results in shared understanding of client expectations, project scope, acceptance criteria, deliverables and accountabilities. A good ITP will capture all inspection and test records and requirements into one site-specific document. It will identify key activities, responsibilities and stages.

A Master ITP will document the proposed order and grouping of tests and interdependencies and design, construction, test, commission and monitoring stages. A task specific Inspection and Test Record (ITR) will document each task in detail, including hold/witness points, test equipment, related documents, baseline data and known issues or defects.

We have an extensive inventory of test equipment and a large catalogue of standard ITPs for the power industry which can be customised to suit client requirements.
